Mazin works with business owners and professionals who want to make confident financial decisions at pivotal moments – whether that’s preparing for retirement, structuring investments, navigating the sale of a business, or ensuring they are not paying more tax than necessary.

In his role he brings structure to complex decisions and help clients navigate trade-offs that carry long-term consequences. This often involves aligning investment strategy, tax considerations and risk management into a plan that can be executed – not just discussed.

Today, as a Partner at BG Private – a role he’s held since 2019 – Mazin works closely with clients over extended periods, often across multiple stages of their financial lives. The focus is not just on outcomes, but on ensuring decisions are made with clarity and discipline.

Before moving into financial advice, he spent several years in health, safety and risk roles within large-scale operations. That experience continues to shape how he approaches financial decision-making: understanding risk, pressure-testing assumptions, and building strategies that hold up in the real world.

Mazin prides himself on translating the complex into the simple, so clients understand his recommendations and feel confident that their finances are in order.

He’s known for being extremely responsive and organised – clients are never left waiting for an answer. Internally, Mazin leads the support team within our Financial Planning division, who have adopted the same client service ethos.

When not working, Mazin can be found at the park with his daughter and French bulldog, lost in Bunnings, or at the gym.
