The role

Specifically, this role will require you to:

  • Have excellent time and workflow management skills
  • Take charge of implementing advice recommendations in an independent, diligent and timely manner
  • Be responsible for client and product provider queries
  • Prepare Records of Advice and other advice documents
  • Support and work closely with the Paraplanning team in preparing advice documents
  • Liaise with clients and product providers in a professional manner
  • Conduct comprehensive research on products and services
  • Work alongside advisers in preparing advice strategies
  • Have a strong technical understanding and background of financial advice processes and products
  • Support advisers in meeting ongoing service requirements
  • Understanding of compliance requirements

For the right candidate, this role can provide a pathway to Provisional Financial Adviser. The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop by working with experienced Advisers on a range of complex and diverse strategies and product range.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary Degree
  • Working towards or have completed post graduate level Financial Planning related qualifications (Masters or Graduate Diploma Financial Planning)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in client administration / paraplanning or associate adviser role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a confident professional manner
  • Experience using XPLAN is highly regarded
