Peter, a long-term client of BG Private, owned a significant property portfolio largely made up of residential assets. Due to the increasing cost of land tax, especially in Victoria, and required statutory upgrades (i.e. minimum energy rating requirements), unfortunately Peter’s return on investment had significantly diminished.
And that wasn’t all. Although residential assets had long enjoyed significant price growth over the years, this was not currently the case.
Peter came to us and asked how he might generate a greater return on his assets and increase the net overall cashflow derived from his portfolio.
